An example of how we have gone out of our way for our clients:

The Iceland Volcano eruption in April 2010 caused major havoc for air travellers, with some people at the time calling it the “worst travel disruption the world has ever seen”.

Travel Blitz had numerous corporate (and leisure) travellers stranded in Europe with no way of getting home. The biggest challenge was trying to accommodate stranded passengers in their current destination. The Travel Blitz team worked around the clock keeping in touch with every traveller, extending their hotel stays and sourcing what limited accommodation was available for those without a bed.

Travel Blitz also had several travellers who had to postpone or cancel their travel, the biggest challenge was getting refunds from hotels and operators at the last minute.

Our team monitored news broadcasts and airline reservations, ensuring our clients were on the first available flights via any route possible. Air tickets were reissued at the last minute when a seat become available.

Travel Blitz processed insurance claims for our clients to ensure they were reimbursed for all out of pocket expenses.
